Oris Dunham Jr. and Sylvia Dunham Scholarship

The IAP CoP is proud to introduce the Oris Dunham Jr. and Sylvia Dunham Scholarship for the Airport Management Accreditation Program (AMPAP). The scholarship aims to enable aviation professionals the opportunity to continue their professional development. Oris, a staple and veteran in the aviation world, explains, “Aviation-related education is important because it provides professionals with a comprehensive understanding of airport management responsibilities and procedures. The scholarship opens the window to delve into AMPAP, a prestigious program that promotes a solid understanding of operational, economical, and legal influences in aviation.”

The scholarship is awarded to four deserving airport professionals, one of whom is a distinguished female leader. The scholarship recipients are individuals looking to further their educational understanding of aviation and attain valuable knowledge that they will then implement into their respective organization. Each scholarship amounts to 2,500 USD and can only be utilized in an AMPAP course of the winner’s choosing.

Eligibility:

  • Currently employed in a management position by an ACI Member Airport (in good standing).
  • Currently enrolled in AMPAP with passing academic results.
